|The Methow Valley Inn and Jon Brown, Chef of the Arrowleaf Bistro in Winthrop are collaborating on a series of cooking classes, entitled “Cooking in the Valley”, as part of the Seed to Table Program at the Methow Valley Inn. We will be using local, organic products wherever possible.
The goal of the classes is to allow the participant to learn about the value of locally gown, organic food and how to use them “efficiently” to help offset the increased cost required to produce these food products. In addition, you will learn the ‘secrets of the cooking trade’; participate in a meal to follow each class with the option to invite a guest to join you. The price for each class includes the cost of the food, a meal to follow each class (option to invite a guest), ‘leftovers’ from the class to take home, recipes and a wonderful time!
